Since then, SBA has expanded to administer self-funded dental, vision, and short-term disability plans. SBA also administers Section 125 Flexible Spending Account plans for medical plan clients and for flex plan-only clients.

SBA partners with independent insurance brokers to provide clients with the very best in plan administrative services and reporting. SBA coordinates preferred provider organizations (PPOs) to meet the needs of our clients and their employees, even for those employers with employees residing in many different states.

In the past several years, SBA has invested significantly in technology to develop leading-edge TPA services. Supported by an outstanding staff, the objective has been to achieve operational excellence in a manner that enhances the services we provide our clients and their plan participants. Several major efforts have been that of increasing the number of claims we receive electronically and developing employer communications centers on the Internet for the benefit of the client's risk manager and their employees.
